Renory - Electronic

Image
A fast electronic beat to go with some nice digital futuristic scenes. The scenes are bright and colorful with lots of moving parts, constantly transitioning with only a couple slowed down parts. Almost plays like a visualizer but not quite there.

Counting Stars

Love the style of this AMV. This anime looks older then it actually is, was surprised to find out it was released in 2008 cause it is definitely hand drawn and animated.

Tribute to the Keyboard

Image
The editor of this anime music video actually named it ZXC741ASD852QWE963, but Tribute to the Keyboard seems like a more suiting title for this post. A fast paced video with some good scenes futuristic technology and nice flow, definitely a well put together AMV.

Our Promises - Fullmetal

Image
This AMV is a multi-editor project of Fullmetal Alchemist with a nice atmospheric flow. It's nice to see an anime music video featuring just one anime instead of a big mash of random clips.

Digital Hell

Image
This anime music video uses the game Portal by Valve for a theme, the song is a pretty good mix of the boss character in the game. Can tell a allot of work went into the planning of this video and the results are pretty good.

Virtual Gamesanity (Beta)

Image
A fan service anime music video, featuring some of the best anime but presented through a virtual reality device that appears to be contacts, or even possibly a brain implant. A really cool idea for an AMV, the kid was looking like he was about to do homework then instead starts browsing some games that we know today, but presented as various anime, which am guessing in his time would look like real life. The beta title most likely implies this AMV is still being worked on.

3013

Image
Love this anime music video, it's very artistic. So many scenes from so many anime blended together, but the work so well together. This amv didn't need a bunch of flashy tricks to look good, a very abstract video, the words in the music where unexpected but a nice touch with good timing on the words matching a few of the scenes.

Our Lives

Image
Ther is no chorus to this song, but is still really enjoyable, the text overlay adds pretty good depth to the anime music video where you can tell there is a clear message from the creator. A good AMV that uses allot of different anime very well that's sure to get the mind thinking, if not for the message in the text overlay, but the memories of the stories in the anime.

Into The Labyrinth - Dubstep

Image
Such great editing skills in this anime music video by lolligerjoj, it was like watching a music visualizer with all the distortions, effects, and transitions going to the beat so well. It must have taken allot of time to get everything synced up just right, not to mention the amount of time that went in to just picking the scenes to be used, am guessing a hundred hours at least. Have seen all three of the anime used to make this AMV and seen them in various other AMVs but this one was very original.

Let Them Eat Rei

Image
This anime music video just bleeds fan made content! The anime Evangelion is held really high among fellow otaku as well as the musician Jonathan Coultan, which this particular song comes from the game Portal by Valve. Fans of Valve and steam (the digital distribution platform) don't just play games, they truly appreciate them as an art form, the same way true anime fans don't watch cartoons, there's a big difference.

Title Goes Here

Image
This anime music video hits the spot! It's fast, electronic, has good visuals, with a great tune. It's music kinda electric or dubstep like, and the text overlays on the AMV where pretty cool.

Get Close

Usually avoid anime music videos like this one, but the AMV has definitely cheered me up.

Kuzo to the Sky

Image
This AMV has some good visuals to the point of looking like a visualizer and the song is pretty good as well, fast and electronic. An interesting part of this anime music video is the first word in the title "Kuzo", which there was no English translation from Japanese, and may not even be a Japanese word. After looking it up this is what was found;

Starlight Injection - Dubstep

Image
Quite in interesting anime music video, the song and the anime definately go together like a story. A nice fast paced AMV with great visual effects it's a shame it was so short though.

Fate Network Beta Version 2.83

Image
This anime music video is a remake of Fate Matrixwhich features a girl running a computer to control the romantic fate of others. The creator says this remake is a beta and that there will be updates that improve  the AMV.

Our Tapes

Image
Comment from the creators "None of us will never be lonely. Our lives and our souls are connected with red threads of fate with someone we loved - insanely hard and painfully tender".

EYES

Image
An interesting romance AMV, the music fits with the main anime used pretty well. Have seen allot of anime music videos featuring Bakemonogatari but only a few that have been worth watching.

Expiation

Image
The creator of the Anime Music Video Echotrooper did a pretty good job putting so many different anime together, only noticed 3. The 1st of which was the lady with blue eye shadow from Ergo Proxy, the red eyes from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the still have no idea who the other girl is. If you know, please share with us in a comment.

AEVIUM - Dubstep

Image
This Anime Music Video is an awesome electronic instrumental with an intriguing looking anime, with it's dark blend of magic and supernatural elements in modern day settings, it sure to become the next series to watch on many peoples anime list.

Addiction

Image
This is this DigiCat's second anime music video and first in the romance genre for AMVs.  The song and anime go well together, and the editor did a good job with immersion into a story through the video and music, and with the all the effects it comes out to be quite a moving video.

Neuromancer

Image
During the 1st 15 seconds of this AMV was thinking, "on no, this song sucks, this video is lame". Just seconds later, started to notice the amount of detail that went into the video editing,  the transitions and blending are superb. The song added to the "oh no" thought but actually ended up enjoying it after the lyrics started.

The Monster

Image
Amazing action and effects in this Anime Music Video, some places were not so clear and there appeared to be some random effects thrown in but the song and video worked well together. The anime used in this AMV actually started out as a music video, which spawned the Black Rock Shooter franchise.

Sincerity

This anime music video won awards for 5 different categories at Akross Con 2012. Best video chosen by the Audience, an Award for Best Romance,  Best Technology,  Best Effects, and Best Presentation. Judge for yourself, then leave a comment below.

A quote from the creator of the AMV "love for you was the best thing that ended in my half-life. She forced stop will-o'-the-wisp of my soul on the edge of the frozen cold. Do you remember me? Pavetta ©"

Illusion of Life

Image
In few words this Anime Music Video can be described as: Illusion of life. Love is nothing but a fleeting illusion. A rose-colored campus life, is, after all, nothing more than an illusory dream.
